Comments

This community has a good location,it is located near boutiques, and food center.

Ditto to the loud HVAC comment. And the garage door is a mess. It's loud and obnoxious, very disturbing to the peace and quiet of the units. It bangs and rattles all the time-when it works. Construction details are very poor and unfinished. Management is non-responsive, and not at all helpful-worthless actually. Maintenance and cleaning are terrible, and the idea that there is "concierge" level service is absurd. There are no community spaces, and Post wants to charge a fortune for the privilge of using the tiny "gym" and outdoor pool.

A couple of notes.

First, the idea that you are living in Old Town is absurd. Carlyle Square is all brand new. It's built on an old railroad yard next to the brand new patent office and lots of new franchise restaurants like StarBucks and Jerry's. Old Town is a ten minute walk away. This is Brand New Town, not Old Town.

Second, these condos were not built by P.N. Hoffman but by Post Properties, which rents the apt's next door. And you see the difference in quality in details such as the wood floors, which are applied to concrete and have large gaps, the garage doors and elevators that scrape when they close or sometimes don't close at all, etc.

Finally, this condo has an extremely loud air vent on the roof that you can hear down the block. It is over 60 db and runs 24 hrs a day. You don't want to live with that or you'll lose your hearing.
